Today we were going to start on the sermon in lesson #3 but, we started to discuss the differences between the Mormon faith and ours. We will hopefully get into the sermon next week.

Please keep Tim's mom in your prayers... she has been diagnosed with stage 1 ovarian cancer. She will begin treatments sometime in June. We are all sorta crushed right now...
I just wanted to edit my post before and let you all know that it isn't ovarian cancer, but instead fallopian tube (tubal) cancer. Sorry for any confusion.

We finished lesson 3 with some more talk about original sin and the depravity of mankind (it wasn't exactly a feel-good-about-yourself lesson). We'll start lesson 4 next week.
